Swedish Massage I

SWEDISH MASSAGE I:

This course covers a brief history of theory of Swedish massage as we know today. Based on Western concepts, Swedish massage employs manipulative techniques of effleurage, petrissage, vibration, friction, and tapotement. The movements can be slow and gentle, vigorous, or bracing.

Level 2: 6 hours of lecture and 6 hours of lab
